A page from it

How it reads.

From the introduction

Here is the most important finding in this book, and it is not about an herb. The habits that move testosterone the most are sleep, body weight, strength training, and alcohol.

No capsule comes close. Herbs can support a good foundation. They cannot replace one.

Before you ask

Four questions.

Does it recommend a testosterone booster?

No. It rates twelve popular herbs honestly. A few have modest evidence, several have little, and none earns a strong rating. The book puts sleep, body weight, strength training and alcohol first.

Does it tell me how much to take?

It lists the amounts used in published studies, for context only, and says clearly that they are not dosing recommendations. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist first, especially if you take medication.

Is it for women too?

It is written for men over fifty. Much of the lifestyle chapter applies to anyone, but the herb profiles and testing advice are about men.

Who wrote it?

Malik Powell, who writes The Over 50 Standard. He is not a physician, the book is education rather than medical advice, and it tells you when to see a doctor instead.
